About Me

I’m not a carpenter or even a good DIY specialist. But I have always enjoyed working with wood and most of what I can do I have learnt from my brother Terry.

I retired about 18 months ago and didn’t want to become a TV addict, so I put together a little workshop to give me something to do. I downloaded some woodworking patterns and I also received some books on rural woodworking, mostly bird boxes, but also candle boxes and spoon racks.

The rest is all history! After attending several events I became known as Uncle Norman's Bird and Bug Boxes!
